Hacksaw launches prediction markets platform for operators

Hacksaw Group has launched a B2B prediction markets platform that allows operators to introduce peer-to-peer trading under their own brands. Announced on October 15, 2026, the product extends the supplier’s technology offering beyond casino games while leaving customer relationships and the user experience with its operator partners.
Alongside the launch, Hacksaw announced that the Malta Gaming Authority had extended its B2B Critical Gaming Supply License to include Type 3 Gaming Services. The company said this authorizes the provision of B2B peer-to-peer prediction market services under Malta’s regulatory framework, supplementing its existing Type 1 authorization.
The platform is designed to combine participation across Hacksaw’s operator network. According to the company, this shared approach would give partners access to a broader pool of participants when launching their services, rather than requiring each operator to build participation independently. Hacksaw did not identify initial customers or individual market launch dates in the announcement.
The launch follows a preliminary update showing slower revenue growth.
Hacksaw said it developed the platform using its existing technology and development team within its current cost base. Its role will be to supply the underlying infrastructure to operators, enabling them to add prediction markets without developing and maintaining the technology themselves.
The announcement came after an October 12 trading update forecasting third-quarter revenue of approximately €57.5 million–€58.5 million, up approximately 11%–12% from a year earlier. Hacksaw attributed growth below its historical pace to softer market conditions and weaker game performance than in recently reported periods. These figures remain preliminary.
Despite the slower revenue growth, Hacksaw expects adjusted operating profit of approximately €48 million–€49 million for the quarter, with an adjusted operating margin of approximately 83%. The company is scheduled to publish its third-quarter interim report on November 3, 2026.
