Skill-based esports wagering deal for WONDR NATION, EWAGERS

WONDR NATION, the online gaming and entertainment company owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (MPTN), has entered a partnership with EWAGERS, a real-money esports wagering platform built on skill-based play. The companies announced the agreement at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2026 in Las Vegas, with skill-based esports wagering as the core of the offering for gaming enterprises.
Under the arrangement, EWAGERS serves as the technology and platform provider. WONDR NATION Professional Services & Sales covers customer relationship management, commercial management, customer support and ongoing managed services. The EWAGERS platform joins the WONDR NATION Professional Services & Sales digital gaming ecosystem.
The package is aimed at gaming enterprises looking to widen their digital gaming offerings.
The two companies describe the joint product as customizable. It is designed to expand digital gaming offerings, engage new audiences and create opportunities for revenue diversification. Gaming enterprises can also use it to evaluate emerging opportunities in skill-based esports betting.
EWAGERS’ platform supports head-to-head wagers, streamer wagers, tournaments and other competitive experiences. Its technology is also built to handle payments and tournament management.
Anika Howard, president and CEO of WONDR NATION, said the agreement would allow the two companies to respond to operator demand as businesses look beyond traditional channels to reach audiences. “Our partnership with EWAGERS expands the innovative solutions we can bring to market, helping our clients evaluate emerging opportunities in skill-based esports wagering and develop experiences that drive engagement, differentiation and long-term growth,” Howard said.
EWAGERS CEO Noah Fulk said operators are increasingly seeking organic ways to connect with modern audiences. “By combining EWAGERS’ technology with WONDR NATION’s industry expertise and managed services capabilities, we can give operators the flexibility and support to bring these experiences to market and build them into their broader digital strategy,” he said.
