Crypto in iGaming webinar: AffPapa’s third session
iGaming Club by AffPapa held its third crypto in iGaming webinar on LinkedIn Live on September 24 at 15:30 CET. Titled “The Crypto Revolution in iGaming: Opportunities, Risks & What Comes Next“, the session examined how cryptocurrencies are affecting payments, player acquisition and affiliate partnerships.
Adar Ziv, founder of Fam, hosted the discussion. Four industry professionals joined him: Henk Wolff, CEO and iGaming consultant; Line Ho Young Peteri, vice president at ATFX; Dmitry Belianin, founder of Menace Corp; and Paul Puolakka, co-founder and CMO of Crypto-Casinos.
The panel set crypto’s growing role in payments against open questions on regulation.
Speakers discussed what is moving crypto from a niche payment option toward wider use across the industry, and what is driving player adoption. They also covered how operators and affiliates are adapting to crypto-first players, and which markets are opening up for brands focused on crypto.
Regulation was a further topic. The panel pointed to areas where the rules remain unclear and talked through how that uncertainty affects brands building their payments and player acquisition around crypto.
